Purpose of the Tent:
The first place to start is to look at what you will be using the tent for. Is it just for yourself / your family, to adventure on short trips? Are you setting up a Glampsite? Will you be using it for event hire or as a therapy room? Do you need it for a children’s play area or perhaps a garden room to extend your home space? We also have customers that use our tents as part of LARPing (live action role playing), how exciting!

How Many People Would You like your Lotus Belle to Accommodate?
Let us know how many guests you’re wanting to stay in / use your tent. Of course, sleeping in the tent will have a different impact to using it for yoga/therapy, so this is important to note.

Where will your tent be pitched? (What climate will it be in?)
The pitching location is important - will you be pitching your tent in a very hot, dry climate, or will it be humid and damp? Will it be exposed, cold, wet and rainy (read: the UK!!!) or a moderate temperature? Canvas is a natural material, so is vastly affected by the environment that it finds itself in. It needs significant care and maintenance in order to have as long a life as possible, and there are steps that can be taken to ameliorate the impact of the environment on your canvas.

Requirements: what are the items you’re in need of as part of your tent experience?
Are mosquito nets essential for you, so that you can have the mesh doors closed whilst still allowing the breeze in? Will you be camping with kids? Will your tent be pitched and taken down regularly - do you need something “quick up, quick down”? Will you be camping under trees? Would you prefer one or two doors? Are you looking for Stargazing panels, so that you can while away the night looking at the stars?
