The question on everyone’s lips right now, ‘When and how can we go on holiday this summer?’
There’s no doubt that the summer of 2020 will be very different to those we’ve become accustomed to, but after such a long period of time in one space, so many of us are keen for a change of scenery.
Even if that is a staycation it is then!
Right now, the rules are clear. We stay where we are and we maintain our social distance. But there is hope on the horizon. In a recent government announcement, Oliver Dowden stated he’d “love to see the tourism sector up as quickly as we possibly can . We’ve set this very ambitious plan to get it up and running by the beginning of July”, we can but hope.
With this in mind we’ve got to thinking about all the glorious places in the UK we could go. So often overlooked when booking our adventures, are the beauty spots that sit right on our doorstep. With the beautiful recent weather of late, the sea on the coast having never looked so blue and a new found love of our daily walks, we’re not so sure being forced into a UK holiday would be such a bad thing after all.
In this weekend’s “How to Go on Holiday This Summer”, aired on Channel Four, they revealed that 45% of Brits are planning a UK holiday within the next six months”.
We’ve taken a look at some of the UK Glamping sites that have a Lotus Belle or two (or five!) up their sleeves, ready to book that well needed summer break, as soon as we get the green light to do so.
